Q: Why do I need to enter my BVN?
BVN is the easiest way for us to confirm your identity. When you enter your BVN, we compare it with the government database to make sure it’s yours. We don’t save it and can’t use it to access your bank account(s). Lastly, the BVN requirement is a government regulation that applies to financial institutions — banks, investment companies, and FinTech's.
